Established in 1949, the Loxton Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) has a proud and successful history.
It is a not-for-profit community based basketball club which offers all aged players in the Loxton district the opportunity to participate in a variety of programs and competitions.
As members of Basketball SA, we are committed to the development of our players and the promotion of basketball across the region.

OUR CLUB

The Loxton Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) was formed in 1949. It was one of the foundation clubs in the sport of basketball in South Australia. 

LABA currently has 40 SuperCats senior and junior teams playing as part of the Riverland Basketball Association summer competition and is the largest clubs in our region with over 300 active members.

LABA has a long and successful past and looks forward to an even more rewarding future.



The objectives of LABA are >>

  • Create the opportunity for players of all ages and abilities to play basketball
  • Develop basketball within Loxton and surrounding areas
  • Provide the opportunity and pathway for players to achieve success beyond Riverland basketball
